I am a graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Master of Fine Arts in Design.
As a practicing, visual artist & designer, my design research involves the conceptual frameworks of speculative design, world-building, and design fiction to critically challenge and engage the audience to question the implication of today’s decisions in the future; using narrative tools such as digital Illustration, poster art, time-based & interactive media, experimental video-making and motion graphics. I enjoy telling stories, but I am even more excited about combining narratives in design with real and pertinent issues.
Displaying my work at nD2C will be an excellent opportunity to engage, network and meet with local artists, designers, and opportunities for future collaborations.
